Privacy Policy

A plain-language explanation of what information Infin8 Apps uses, why it is needed, and the choices available to you.

1. Who is responsible

Infin8 Apps is an independent software business based in Ontario, Canada. The owner acts as the Privacy Officer and is responsible for personal information handled by the business.

Privacy questions, access or correction requests, and complaints can be sent to infin8apps@gmail.com. Please do not email passwords, full payment-card details, licence keys, or unnecessary sensitive information.

2. Information we handle

  • Account information: email address, verification state, account identifiers, and security records needed to operate your account.
  • Purchases and subscriptions: product or plan, Stripe customer and transaction references, payment status, currency, amount, invoices, cancellation state, and entitlement history. Infin8 Apps does not receive or store your full card number.
  • Licensing and downloads: products owned, licence and activation identifiers, device limit and activation state, protected download and update records, and technical information needed to prevent abuse.
  • Support: contact details, case messages, attachments you choose to provide, product/version details, and resolution history.
  • Discord and Arcade: Discord profile identifiers and community information only when you choose to link or use those features; Arcade profile, score, and moderation records where applicable.
  • Technical records: IP address, timestamps, request and security logs, browser/device information, and essential cookies or session tokens required for sign-in, fraud prevention, and reliable operation.

3. Why we use it

We use personal information to create and secure accounts; verify email addresses; process and reconcile purchases; issue, activate, revoke, and restore licences; provide protected downloads and updates; operate support; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain service and tax records; and comply with legal obligations.

Information collected for a purchase or account is not automatically treated as consent to promotional email. Marketing messages, if introduced, will use a separate consent choice and an unsubscribe method.

4. Services that process information

Infin8 Apps uses service providers only where needed to operate the ecosystem:

  • Stripe hosts checkout, billing, invoices, subscriptions, refunds, and payment fraud controls.
  • InfinityFree and its infrastructure providers host the public website and customer-facing website services.
  • Discord processes information when you use the Infin8 Apps server, bot, linked profile, or Discord support surfaces.
  • Email providers deliver verification, account, purchase, and support messages.
  • Infin8 Apps' own support computer in Ontario runs the support desk and the Discord support assistant. Support messages may receive a first automated reply generated by a locally hosted AI model on that computer; your messages are not sent to a third-party AI service, and the owner can review any case.
  • Bookkeeping software records business transactions, fees, payouts, and refunds for accounting and tax purposes.

Infin8 desktop software is local-first: your projects, audio, settings, and assistant data stay on your device. Activation and update checks send only the licence, product, version, and device identifiers needed to confirm your entitlement.

These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Information may be processed outside your province or country and may be subject to the laws of that location.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep information only while it is needed for the purpose described above or for legal, accounting, security, dispute, and licence-history requirements. Account and entitlement history may remain while an account, subscription, licence, refund, dispute, or support obligation is active. Transaction and consent records may be retained for legally required periods. Short-lived session data and routine technical logs are removed or rotated when no longer operationally necessary.

You may request account closure or deletion. Some records may need to be retained to meet tax, fraud prevention, dispute, licence-revocation, or other legal obligations. Where deletion is not possible, use will be limited to those requirements.

6. Safeguards

Infin8 Apps uses verified accounts, restricted server-side credentials, signed licensing records, protected download routes, access controls, audit records, and service separation appropriate to the information involved. Payment-card entry occurs on Stripe-hosted pages. No online service can guarantee absolute security; report suspected account or licence abuse promptly.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask what personal information Infin8 Apps holds about you, request access or correction, withdraw optional consent, close an account, or raise a privacy concern by emailing the Privacy Officer. Identity verification may be required before account information is disclosed or changed.

You may disconnect optional Discord features, decline non-essential communications, and use the unsubscribe mechanism in any commercial electronic message. Transactional account, security, purchase, licence, and support messages may still be sent when necessary to provide a requested service.

8. Changes to this policy

The version date above identifies this policy. Material changes will be posted at this same URL before they take effect. If a change requires new consent, Infin8 Apps will request it separately.
